Quaglino’s has launched an exclusive Perrier Jouët Champagne cocktail meticulously blended by top mixologist, Marco Rosado, to raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation over the Christmas period. The PJ Golden Angel is a fusion of Perrier Jouët Grand Brut Champagne with, a hint of Amaretto, a dash of Cointreau and Goldschlager.
Paul Woodward, Brand Director for Champagne at Allied Domecq Spirits & Wine (UK) Ltd, comments, “The Elton John AIDS Foundation has been the adopted charity for Quaglino’s in 2003 and as Perrier Jouët is the Foundation’s official Champagne this year we are delighted that Marco chose it as the base for his PJ Golden Angel cocktail. We wish everyone at Quaglino’s every success in their fundraising.”
Elton John says of the collaboration “There is no indication that the spread of the virus is letting up, and with the demands on Foundation funds being ever increasing worldwide, we are always keen to establish innovative fundraising partnerships such as this with Quaglino’s and Perrier Jouët Champagne.”
The PJ Golden Angel cocktail will be available until 6 January 2004 exclusively at Quaglino’s, 16 Bury Street, London SW1. £1.00 per cocktail will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
